Meet Dr Jones

Ashley Jones has worked for over 35 years in the media and communication industry including television, radio and newspaper. His work has included producing, directing and writing for visual productions, including a number of projects for multi-media development projects.

Radio

He currently presents and produces Talking Queensland heard on the Resonate Radio Group of stations across rural, regional and remote Queensland. As well as produced a number of outdoor and indoor major events. He has worked
as a radio and press journalist and presenter on both radio and television.

TV

He was Queensland Manager for LocalVision on Optus Television and was part of the team pioneering pay TV in Australia. He has lectured in screen production at TAFE, Griffith University and is currently working at the University of Southern Queensland.

The television industry is ever changing. In Brisbane we are celebrating the 60th year of broadcast television.   I cannot help but think, what will we celebrate in another 60 years? In the near future we will start a conversation here about TV and Radio.  Speaking of Radio, the industry is just going wild.  Radio is doing so well, it is so resilient.
